[Eph 4:15-16 ESV] 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
The Bible uses the analogy of the body to describe His church. The head of the church is Christ Himself. He directs all the other members to wherever He wishes. Every part of the body performs a necessary role in life. If all are hands, where are the feet? God has equipped us all with gifts to love and serve one another. All of us are called to worship the Lord and not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. All of us are called to prayer and support for each other. He has also given each member more specific gifts where we can be a blessing to those around us and build the body up in love. Pray to the Lord to reveal your gifts whereby you may be a blessing to others and how He may call you to His service. If you feel the Lord is calling you, please consider the many ways some are serving the Lord by exploring the links provided for areas of regular service which our church is performing at this time.
